The Travel Blog Story

I'm a twenty-something-year-old nonprofit professional (also freelance photographer and career consultant - I stay busy) currently living in Boston, MA.  This travel blog originally started from a tourism internship and quickly turned into a travel tip website from a very personal point of view. It documented my experiences backpacking Europe, studying abroad, volunteering in Asia, and adventuring around the country and the world.  Later it evolved into a Peace Corps blog capturing my daily life, projects, and of course, travel around Cameroon and West Africa. 

Though I love writing, I found that capturing moments from behind a camera lens is the best way to share my adventures. I've always wanted to keep my work relatable to anyone, anywhere in the world, so enjoy!

"C'est la vie" is a French phrase that means "That's life."  It happens to us, good or bad, for better or for worse.  Travel for me is thus one of my ways of proactiving pursuing life - to not let life slip by, but to have each travel adventure contribute to the adventure of life itself. 

What's the direction of my blog now?  Like everything else, we'll just have to see...c'est la vie.
